The theme colours of our website – green and purple – are inspired by the beauty of the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, which nicely align with our Nordic identity. The phenomenon has a strong heritage in our region and is often visible close to the Arctic Circle, but on occasion also here in Stockholm.

While our ancestors attributed the Northern Lights to the Valkyries, ancient warrior maidens, we today know that the phenomenon is a result of the interaction between charged particles from the sun and the earth’s magnetic field.
